Ice Storm - Springfield, Missouri - January 2007 (217 images)
Between January 12 and 14, an unprecented ice storm hit Springfield. Mom and Daddy have lived here their entire lives and they
have never seen anything like it before. The destruction is devastating. There is not an area or plant that escaped damage. People were without power for days. Andy did not get electricity (and heat) back for 11 days. The beautiful trees of Springfield are devastated. And the
remaining debris will take weeks or more to clean-up.
Mom said she wished that she had some pictures so I went out to the web and pulled some down and that is what is here. Thanks to several people who got out and took these
outstanding shots and posted them for others to see.
